Description
This kit includes everything you will need to assemble your own African Djembe Drum. The kit includes 24 inch tall Djembe shell with a 11 - 12 inch diameter head/shell size. Also included is the rope, goat skin head, rings and step by step illustrated instructions.
These are drums which have blemishes and don't meet World Wide Drum's standards for finish quality but provide an inexpensive way to get into Djembe building.
It's not difficult to assemble a Djembe and you get the satisfaction of knowing you build the Djembe with your own creative hands.
Drum features include: A shell made from a single piece of kiln dried select grade plantation grown mahogany.
The shell is lathe turned for a consistent/open sound and easy tuning.
The goat skin head is from the back of the goat where the skin is thicker and more consistent. This produces a more robust sound.
The alpine rope is non-stretch and weather resistant
